      Overview:

      BluePrint BP38321SP GM Small Block Compatible performance short block engine has been dyno tested at our factory with a Holley Classic 750cfm Carburetor and H8002K Cylinder Heads and produced 436 horsepower and 443 minimum torque. Not every BP38321SP is Dyno tested. This performance shows the capabilities of this engine. Performance may vary depending upon what cylinder heads, fuel system and intake manifold you choose. This engine features a 4-inch bore which mathematically yields a 377ci with a 3.75-inch stroke. This customizable engine comes with timing cover, harmonic balances, oil pan, hydraulic roller cam, with a 1.6-inch rocker arm, and a high-volume oil pump.

      Notes:

      • This engine features a true 4-inch bore, which mathematically yields 377 CID with a 3.75-inch stroke.
      • This engine requires a non-weighted 8" harmonic balancer (included), and late 350ci weighted flexplate/flywheel.
      • The HP and Torque numbers were derived from dyno testing with a 750cfm carb, and with H8002K cylinder heads installed.
      • Not for use in pollution-controlled vehicles.

      *A Bronze Distributor Gear is NOT Recommended on this Engine.

It's manufactured using tighter machining tolerances, higher quality components, and finer balancing of the rotating assembly to make this engine better than the original while still meeting the description of a “replacement” engine.

    • Notes
      • Designed as factory replacement long block for specified vehicles and year ranges, using OEM specification parts. Customer to re-use existing intake manifold, ecu (if equipped), exhaust, fuel system etc. Modification or replacement of provided tinware, and minor accommodations such as dipstick location may be required.
      • Specifically designed as an OEM spec engine to meet emissions requirements of the specified vehicles, to meet the criteria of "replacement engine" in all 50 states.
      • If your vehicle was originally equipped with a 2-piece rear main seal crankshaft, a new flex plate or flywheel will be required. Note for those same early applications, this block features the dipstick on the Passenger side.
      • Must verify with application list linked above for fitment.
